PONIES FOR SALE

Foaled in 2007

"Winding Oaks Helios"
(BF Oliver Twist x Quelle Surprise [Chant de Paix/Cicero/Cor de la Bryere])

"Leo" is a stunning, palomino, Welsh/Warmblood colt,
expected to mature at 14 h + 1/2" (based on length of cannon bone...which is very short, so he may go a bit taller).  He currently stands 13.3 h + 1/2".  I've resisted gelding (and selling) him until now, as he is exquisite.
However, I am simply lacking the resources right
now to produce and campaign a
stallion prospect.

If he does sell entire, I would be interested in
breeding to him in the future.  He would also
obviously make a gorgeous
performance gelding.

He is naturally uphill and has the most easy,
natural canter (the surest sign of an excellent
hip/"engine") I've ever seen, gorgeous extensions,
perfect jump with knees even/high, etc.  He is
naturally a flat-kneed hunter mover (reminds
me very much of his half-sister, the very successful
hunter pony W.O. Tiara Twist, at this age), but
has plenty of knee/hock when asked...would be
gorgeous in the dressage or driving ring.  He
is smart and quick and easy to train.

Priced at $4,000.

Fernview Roosevelt

(BF Oliver Twist                  x  Pashmina [A Circuit Ch.])

  x

Pictured at 3 years.  Registered Half-Welsh.

"Teddy" is currently 12 hands + 1/4".  He has lovely flat-kneed hunter movement, a huge canter stride, is well balanced and handy with lead changes and jumping.  He is conformationally built to excel at performance, so anyone looking for a bombshell small pony, check into Teddy.

Teddy's sire, B.F. Oliver Twist, is many times champion...both in harness and in the breed ring.  He is also a First Premium American Sportpony and sire of Champions in the sportpony, performance and breed rings.  At his inspection, he was described as having "phenomenal" jumping ability.

Teddy's dam, Pashmina, is a many time A Circuit small hunter Champion.  Her record includes the following wins:

2002 Capital Challenge Small Pony Champion
2002 SFHJA Annual Charity Champion
2003 Littlewood Farm New Years Champion

Priced at $2,600.

"Winding Oaks Tootsie Twist"
(B.F. Oliver Twist X Tiffany Secret Lacey)

Foaled in 2004, Half-Welsh Mare

Updated pictures coming soon...

I believe this gorgeous, fancy, solidly built mare will be
able to be measured as a top of the line small.  She
has a huge stride and is being offered for sale to a
performance home.  She is a flat-kneed, hunter
type mover who is well balanced with a beautiful hip
 and shoulder.

Tootsie has what it takes to be a top hunter pony...
She has a perfect floaty, flat-kneed trot and natural canter.  She also has a gorgeous pony head with tippy ears and
would do great on the line.

$3,500

Winding Oaks Champagne Wishes
(Misty Mountain Brynmor x Eve [Welara])

Half Welsh Gelding

3/4 Welsh, palomino gelding, foaled in 2005.  Champ's
sire is our own Welsh Cob herdsire, Misty Mountain
Brynmor.  His maternal grandsire is the fabulous
full brother to Sleight of Hand,
*Smoke Tree Silver Dragon

Champ is a dynamic mover who will look fabulous in
harness.  He has enough knee and hock to look flashy,
with the knee action being followed by beautiful
extension.  He also has nice reach behind and lovely
balance, rhythm and suspension.

**Champ was the Site Champion of his American
Sportpony inspection, scoring an impressive overall 7.7.
He also won Reserve Champion, for the 2005 East-
Southeast Regional ASPR Foal Futurity.

Champ is now 4 yrs old and has completed his
basic training.  He is a gentle, intelligent pony and
our trainer LOVES this guy!  He is long-lining and lunging,
under tack, and has been backed at w-t.  He is 14.1 hands.

Winding Oaks GreatExpectations

(BF Oliver Twist x Sultans Harem Doll aka Jasmine [IAHA])

SOLD...
Huge congrats to Seana Willis!
Tate will be joining her soon in CA for all kinds of CDE fun!

Pictures and video at 3 years of age.

Link to video of Tate in harness, here:

"Tate" is a 13.3+ h bay gelding, bred and raised on our farm, foaled on March 9, 2005. He is a lovely flat kneed mover, but with a powerful hip.  He is one of those who can do it all...hunters, dressage or driving.

Tate has successfully completed his "basic" training, including successful completion of his first show in harness.  He has been ponied out on trails extensively, been out in/around traffic, ground ties, clips, loads, trailers, lunges, long-lines, etc.  He is UTD on all vaccines and farrier care.

Tate is pictured on the left, driven by Scott Adcox.  He made his show debut at the 2008 Tampa Trials, winning second place in his very competitive division.

"Tate" is a full sibling to
Winding Oaks Tom Foolery
(pictured below)
owned and trained by
BB Blackwelder.  Shown being
driven here by Scott Adcox.
